Hard Yakka sponsors Think Brick 2010 Brick Masterclass
The Brick Masterclass is a new industry initiative by Think Brick Australia.
It has been designed to help develop leadership and craft skills in young bricklayers who've shown the potential to help our industry meet the current and future demand for excellence in building and construction. Twelve of Australia's best young qualified bricklayers have been invited to attend a 5-day intensive live-in course that will hone their practical skills and increase their leadership and management skills.
The participants will learn aspects of theory including leadership, team management and personal development as well as practical skills including craft and design. They will also have the chance to work with and learn from a bricklaying master craftsman.
The first Masterclass will take place from 24-28 February 2010.
